About us
The Nocturnes is an independent club that aims to establish an inclusive, educational, and social environment for people to play tabletop and miniature games in the Southern Indiana area. Our motto is: Unplug, Unite, and Play.
FAQs
Gaming clubs are one of the main ways that players can participate in their hobby around the world. They are common in the UK, but in the US most gaming clubs are associated with a school or university. Some of you may have never been a member of a club before, so here are some frequently asked questions and their answers. Where is the club?
Its everywhere! The Nocturnes Tabletop Gaming Guild does not currently have its own space. For now we are partnering with venues, nonprofits, and games stores in the Bloomington area to house our gaming and hobby events. With your support, we may be able to afford to rent a space dedicated to the club! You can find out more at our Support Us page.
How do I join?
If you are willing to follow our Code of Conduct, you can join the club by logging onto our Discord Server, Joining our Facebook Group, attending any of our Club Events, or by filling out the contact form below. This will make you a Pre-Member and will allow you to participate in the community and schedule games or demos. To find a club event near you, visit our Events page.
How much does it cost?
To become a full member, there will be a $5 lifetime membership fee. We have not set up the infrastructure yet to accept payment and print membership cards. Until that is in place, Pre-Members will have all of the perks of a full member. If you'd like to know more about the membership benefits, visit our Memerships page.
Join a game!
There are games and workshops happening in the area every week. The major events hosted by the club can be found on the events page. If you want to play something specific and don’t see an event for it, the Discord Server has several text channels for players seeking a group. If you are feeling ambitious, you could even apply for GM Status and host your own event!
